Wonderwoman

This summer I wrote a post about how much easier my wife makes traveling. She took care of the details so that I could concentrate driving and some bigger issues.
This fall makes traveling look like nothing. My wife has been absolutely amazing. I'm gone most days from about 6:30 am until 6:30 at night. I get to help with bed time, but not much else. I try to do little things around the house, but whatever I do, I can't make the hours between pickup and bedtime easy. Even more than the hours of single parenting she does on weeknights, I am amazed at what she's put up with on weekends. I've had a couple of Saturday games and practices and we have coaches meetings most Sunday nights. On top of the single parenting bit she's taken on more school responsibilities and is coaching debate.
Most amazingly she's also managed to cook incredible meals and has been baking the best bread ever.
I know that writing this post doesn't make life easier and I know that I don't really comprehend everything she does, but I want to publicly acknowledge how lucky I am and I feel. Her support and the hours she puts in makes everything I do possible. I wish I could make her feel the way I feel about her.
